HDHacker

HDHacker is a small utility that allows you to make a backup copy of the Master Boot Record.

If you have two operating systems installed on your computer, such as Windows and Linux, you will find this application particularly useful because if you reinstall Windows, you will lose that boot sector.

HDHacker lets you view, save and restore the MBR of a physical drive, the boot sector of a logical drive, and a specific sector of any other device, including removable drives.

If a virus or Windows reinstall wrecked your bootloader, there is no need to worry, now you can retrieve it anytime.

But... Watch out! You can load the current bootloader if you activate the overwrite option.
